Receiving a cancer diagnosis is frightening and stressful on the individual and their loved ones. Imagine suddenly having to learn about complicated medical treatments, figuring out the ins and outs of working with a team of multiple physicians and weighing the pros and cons of the best treatments? It can be absolutely overwhelming for the patient and the entire family!
A band of caring and dedicated women from the Today’s Woman Foundation have come together and figured out how to create a compassionate and thoughtful gift to help brighten a moment in the life of a person with cancer. Each Bundle of Hope gift box will include wellness items such as lip balm, hand sanitizer; entertainment items such as puzzle books, word finders, journals, inspiring books; and comfort items such as fuzzy socks, beanies or scarves. The care package is tailored to meet the needs of the patient whenever possible.
Please accept this “Bundle of Hope” gift box from the Today’s Woman Foundation. “Bundles of Hope” is a community-wide labor of love project established by our Foundation to support and encourage women who are in treatment for cancer. Many of us have walked in your shoes and know how important it is to stay encouraged during this challenging time. The doll inside this box is made with love and represents a friend to hold onto on rough days. You’re allowed to scream, you’re allowed to cry, and never give up hope.
