Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program Hope & Healing Fundraiser

Executive Director Cindy Bostick and seven others are proud to serve as state-certified Crisis Counselors and advocates with Partners Against Violence in preparation for the launch of the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Their expertise will play a crucial role in providing necessary support and resources to survivors.

At this critical moment, we believe no survivor should walk out of a hospital feeling lost and exposed. That’s why we are launching the Hope & Healing Care Bag Program—a simple yet profound way to restore dignity, provide comfort, and offer a sign of hope to survivors of sexual assault.
Each care bag includes new clothing, toiletries, and essential items—small but powerful gestures that remind survivors:
  • You are not alone.
  • You are cared for.
  • Your healing journey starts here.
Your Donation = Immediate Impact
Every $100 donation sponsors two care bags + a handwritten note of encouragement.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to provide 50 care bags—ensuring that every survivor who walks through hospital doors receives the care and dignity they deserve.

Donate Today & Win a Beautiful Symbol of Transformation

To show our gratitude, every donation enters you into a raffle for a handmade butterfly quilt and a spa day for two—a reminder of transformation, hope, and renewal.
Your generosity will leave a lasting impact on a survivor’s journey. Will you join us in bringing hope and healing to those who need it most?
About us

Our mission is to help empower women

Based on the reality that women belong to all strata and walks of life, we strive to build a bridge between successful women leaders, homemakers and entrepreneurs and women that need resources, career skills and support. From single mothers working to get back on their feet, to young women with career goals to patients with serious healthcare issues we strive to empower these women and help transform their lives and the lives of their families.

Meet the TWF Women of Excellence

The Today’s Woman Foundation Women of Excellence Award was created to identify local women in the High Desert who have worked tirelessly, often breaking down barriers and overcoming obstacles that once seemed insurmountable, to serve their communities. It is through this Award that we honor these women and their accomplishments. This award was established in 2017 as part of the annual Black Dress Affair Gala  celebration to honor the hard work and dedication of women leaders from across our High Desert.

What they're saying...

My kids and I are forever grateful. We went through a very difficult time but because of it, we got to meet all of you and that made it all worth it. Now, we have a new life, a new beginning, and a better understanding about how to approach life with knowledge, love and faith. Today’s Woman Foundation, thank you and may God bless all of you always.

Thank you very much for the cancer box, it is fabulous! I look forward to sending the second box to my friend in Chicago who has brain cancer. It will put a smile on her face. I have completed radiation and doing fine. Once again, this is a beautiful surprise. You are a grand organization to do this for us cancer persons. Thank you, thank you.

I received a “Bundle of Hope” boxed gift from Melanie Ajanwachuku when I started chemotherapy last month. I felt like a little kid opening a birthday or Christmas gift. Such fun! It is delightful and so comforting. Almost immediately I began to wear the stocking cap and scarf as the mornings have been cold… Sincerely,
Anna

Happy cancer patient embracing her friend who is visiting her at home.

There is good in this world. And it's worth fighting for.

And how do we fight for the good that is in this world?  The best place to start is with our community.  It’s the people we surround ourselves with, who join us and become part of a great cause.

Hope and optimism are the fuel for that fight.  It’s an investment in tomorrow, believing in the capacity of women, and when we empower them, they in turn will empower others,.
