Our Honorees

Nine local women from different generations who have profoundly impacted the community are to be recognized at the upcoming ceremony.

Beyond the nine honorees, Diana Van Riel (2024 Legacy Recipient) and Karin Etheridge (2024 President’s Award) will also be celebrated for their exceptional contributions. The event aims to highlight the lasting influence these leaders have in shaping the community’s future

Our Emcee: Coleen Quinn

We are excited to announce our emcee this year.  Coleen Quinn from Y102 will emcee the 2024 Black Dress Affair Gala!

Coleen is a lifetime native of the High Desert and loves her classic rock! If she’s not at work she likes to go to concerts, spend time in the garden and love sports including the Dodgers, Lakers and the L.A. Rams! She also loves spinning all her albums while hanging out playing pinball at home.

Daniel Morris

Daniel Morris an accomplished Violist, moved to Los Angeles to chase his music dreams and his future wife, Erin. In LA, he’s thrived, selling over 20,000 albums and performing at venues like the Santa Monica Pier and Universal Studios CityWalk. His unique mix of classical viola and pop music features in his albums, “California Dream” and “The Best of Pop on Viola.” Noteworthy appearances include a Super Bowl commercial and a Grammys performance. Daniel, Erin, and their son Weston live in LA, where he continues to captivate audiences with his innovative style.
